There are many types of exercises that you can do, and it all depends on which one you choose to do, the one you hate doing, the one you like doing, or even paying membership fees, or you could even buy machines or equipments. These are all things need to be taken into account.

If you choose to do exercise like weight-lifting which you do not really like it or enjoy doing it, then you are not going to keep doing it for a long time. You may need to give it some thoughts. If there is none of any exercises that you like, then maybe try to choose the one that you hate the least, maybe jogging or even just walking.

Eventhough you may say walking is so simple, but actually it really is a great exercise. It is a daily exercise that we all do everyday, and it can start any time. Only intensity and duration that are different. Walking is also another great choice of all exercises since it can be a social exercise. It is not so difficult to find a partner to chat with while walking. Also walking with a partner will even make time fly.

No matter what exercise you choose, the low level of intensity is extremely preferred. You shouldn't rush yourself into the exercise since you could end up with an injury and that will definitely require time off to get over. You should start at a low level of intensity and build it up over a period of time.

If you are really in a bad shape, or overweight, you may start off by waking for just 10 minutes. Then you may increase it by 5 minutes every two week. To make it even more interesting, you should try to walk a different course, maybe every few day. You could even persuade your friends to walk with you.

After all, if walking is not your thing as well, then fitness center may be your choice, or your last choice. They have many machines and many trainers on hands that will help you through out your exercise period. This is a very good way to reduce weight or just ordinary exercise, besides you can also be sure that you're doing the right and correct way of exercising since there will be trainers around the place.

When choosing the fitness center to join, you need to make sure a lot of things before you join any fitness center. For example, you may ask some people who have joined the fitness center about it. Usually before you join, you have a chance to visit the center, you may go to some machines and listen to them. If they squeak a lot or make noise, then mostly, they are not being taken care of.

Or if fitness center is also not your choice, then the very last choice may be golf or tennis. They both are good social activities, you can even make more new friends.

Last but not least, whether or not you like to exercise, it is a must that you choose at least one of exercise, because any kinds of exercise will make you healthy. If you do not exercise regularly, you will definitely regret one day, and this is a promise made by yourself.
